Candle Care & Safety

Our sculptural candles are designed to be enjoyed as both decorative pieces and candles. Because each shape is different, they may burn differently from candles in containers.

Before Lighting

• Remove all packaging, labels, ribbons, and decorative accessories.
• Place the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant tray with raised edges to catch melted wax.
• Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each use.
• Keep the candle away from drafts, vents, fans, and flammable objects.

While Burning

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Keep burning candles several inches apart.
• Do not move or touch the candle while the wax is hot.
• Sculptural candles may drip or burn unevenly. Always use a suitable candle holder or tray.
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.

When to Stop

• Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes unusually high, flickers repeatedly, or produces excess smoke.
• Stop burning when about 1/2 inch of wax remains.
• Allow the candle and melted wax to cool completely before handling.
