Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Nancy.
I’m a designer and candle maker based in San Jose, California. Before starting LightSaltScents, I worked as a candle designer at a candle manufacturing studio, where I learned the craft from the inside out—from shaping and color work to the finishing details that make each piece feel special.
After becoming familiar with both the technical process and the artistic side of candle making, I felt ready to create something of my own: candles designed with imagination, made with care, and meant to bring a little delight into everyday life.
Candles Can Be Playful
I believe a candle can be elegant and beautifully scented—but it can also be cute, surprising, and fun. A familiar dessert, a favorite fruit, or even an everyday vegetable can become a tiny work of wax art that makes people smile before it is ever lit.
That idea is at the heart of LightSaltScents. I design realistic food-inspired candles that are lovely to display, memorable to give, and joyful to receive. Each design balances detail and whimsy, turning an ordinary object into a conversation starter.
